Special Expenses
High and special expenses that are not needed every month are called special expenses. Examples include life insurance premiums that are paid annually, car inspections, and travel expenses. Not only will you be able to figure out your annual budget in advance, but you will also be able to see where your major expenses come from, making it easier to look back on your household budget. Fill in the name of the event, the budget, and the total budget for the year in the TOTAL BUDGET column. (It's likely to change, so using a pencil or Frixion ballpoint pen to fill it in is a GOOD!) After the event, fill in the actual expenses and the total amount for the month and also in the TOTAL SPECIAL EXPENSES column on the monthly sheet.
Annual Balance
Write the total amount for each item on the first sheet of each month in the respective monthly line. Graph the items that are of particular concern to you.
